While all of those things can still be attained (with a bit more effort) summer usually means mall walking, swimming (with mountains of sun screen on) and for me, beading! As I like to tell those who constantly ask, how do you stand the heat? I try to answer lightly, oh it's just a great excuse to stay inside and (enter here what you love to do inside). Though I try to make it sound fabulous I have yet to convince anyone to come and visit during the summer months.
But we Arizonians are tough. We can withstand 110 plus temperatures like it is nothing. We persevere when others wouldn't and I also have a sneaky suspicion the we are what keeps companies like Banana Boat in business.
So bring on the sunscreen (if you are braving the heat like me) and especially bring on those inside projects for when you need a break from the outside 'hair dryer'.
