I awoke the other morning to hear the radio announcer state that, 'today is the first day of fall.' And I could not believe it! Mostly because the wonderful state of Arizona, especially Phoenix, does not demonstrate too well the changing season. But other things sure do! Anywhere you go these days you will see fall decorations, our bead store has gotten into the spirit of fall as well. Be sure the next time you are in the store to check out the fall themed display the Helen and Jan have done.
Another thing that fall brings to our store is the lovely, wonderful holiday inspired beading day (known previously as Holi
day Magic). Every year the ladies at the store put together a wonderful day full of classes, projects that inspire, and fun! And I can't forget the lovely Mary, our gracious host, who will ply you with cookies and hot cider. It is such a fun day, so stay tuned as to the date and make sure to join us this year.
So in honor of the first day of fall I started making some homemade craft pumpkins for our house. They sure add to the feeling of fall. I also whipped out my spice scented candles, ignored the blazing sun outside, and lit them for that feeling, and scent, of fall. Oh and don't forget to wear these pumpkin earrings!
